Location is fantastic - just a few steps from Bourke St and access to trams, and also just a few blocks from Southern Cross Station. We stayed in an Executive Two-Bedroom Apartment - spacious bedrooms, lounge and dining areas, serviceable kitchen and laundry facilities. We also had a balcony overlooking the dome of the Supreme Court. The apartment was serviced daily. The Quest on William provides easy access to many of the tourist facilities, cafes, restaurants and shopping offered in Melbourne and the convenience of staying here is well worth the price paid.

Both bathrooms were quite outdated and given the size of the bathrooms, a bigger shower could be accommodated. The main bedroom had an ensuite with a very small shower while the main bathroom, whilst long, had the shower over the bath.

The reception staff were fantastic. Extremely friendly and helpful at all times. They even went the extra mile and booked the seat numbers for our flight home, saving a very long queue at the airport. Location was great, only a short walk down to the Yarra for our early morning walks, and excellent proximity to all the great shopping, cafes/bars and trams. Because it is in the business district there is not a lot of street noise at night, or tram/train noise. Apartments were serviced each day. Cheap friendly cafe next door for breakfast. All round an excellent place to stay.

The balcony was very drab and uninviting.

Spacious rooms and well appointed. Staff were excellent - very helpful at all times. We were there for a week and the first room we were allocated faced a stone wall but they willingly changed us to a better room. The location was good but there are other Quests in Melbourne so its worth checking their other locations. In the middle of the CBD so although several coffee shops and restaurants nearby, most cafes closed on weekends.

The room wasn't cleaned during our stay though the towels were changed daily.

The accomodation was fantastic! A lovely double room apartment suited us very much. Very clean; great facilities.

The staff on the day didn't seem to happy, not offereing the best service.

We were three persons: me, my partner and our friend. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. Right after we made the booking, before we even arrived, they called us to ask what type of group we are - friends, couples or family. This was to ensure that we had the kind of beds we wanted. This made me very happy - doesn't take much time to call the customer and ask, but definitely makes their stay a whole lot better! Thanks for that :) The apartment itself was very modern and had everything we needed. Big bathroom with both shower and bathtub, and great kitchen facilities. Beds were very comfy and wifi cost less than in some of the other hotels/apartments we had stayed in. Nice location in the CBD, close to Southern Cross Station. Reception staff was helpful and the apartment was cleaned every day.

The great location in the middle of all amenities , spacious, clean and modern 2 bedroom apartment at great price

    Close to brunch spots

The lift didn't need to have a security pass even though we were advised to use it.

The staff were really helpful with any queries and requests, especially Josh. The locality was excellent, easily within walking distance to shopping, trains etc. Trams right on the corner. The rooms were spacious and clean. Only issue was the king size bed in the smaller room - could not open the wardrobe. I thought it was going to be in the larger room with the view. The price we paid was great value for money, especially as it was Cup week. Would definitely stay again.

Only that we could not open/ use the cupboard in the second room as it was blocked by the bed. Shower a little small but ok.

Great central location, very clean apartment. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

Clean, relatively quiet, convenient location. Comfortable

Shower in the bathroom, too small. If a bath is to be provided, should be spa bath otherwise don't have one at all and make space into larger shower recess.

Comfortable, in a fantastic location - a short stroll to just about everywhere, with trams on your doorstep. Really enjoyed my time here and it definitely made our city trip so much better knowing there were no hassles with our accommodation. Even when we booked in, it was later decided we wanted to stay a second night - absolutely no hassles booking at the desk straight away too.

Nothing I didn't like in particular.

    1. The apartment that we booked (a 2-bedroom apartment) was fairly spacious and nice. Had lots of room to relax. 2. Cleanliness wise - it was pretty clean and was kept clean throughout our stay. 3. Service was quite good. There was a gentlemen at the front desk who was extremely friendly. Can't remember his name though. He was on duty on Sunday (9 December).

    1. Location wise, not the best if you plan to shop and make trips out to the rest of the city. Was a bit of a walk to most places especially to good restaurants. Area was a bit quiet in the evenings and hence did not feel all that safe. 2. The 2nd bedroom however was a bit small. 3. The bathroom was spacious but the shower was a bit small and cramped up. The bathroom kept getting wet because the water from the shower kept seeping out. The bathroom floor mat would get wet each time someone had a shower and if more than 2 people bathe, then it used to become soaking wet!

It was so great location, I drive a car and also get trams, it was so good place to city tour. Queen victoria market is close, my family can walk to market. And very clean.

None. But parking of melbourne city is not cheap , inconvenience.

  • Family with children

The staff were very good.Convenient access to the carpark. Location was great.

The extra (sofa) bed was too thin and when lying on it, one could feel the wires. My son could not sleep on it, so I would like a refund. The lighting in the lounge was poor, several downlights were out. Like wise the bedroom lighting was poor and the bedside lights had to be relied on. Traffic and yahoo noise from the street was disruptive despite double glazing.
